Forest Lake High School Music Teachers

Every other year there is a Music Department trip offered to the high level and all junior and senior music personel. In 2014 the teachers attended a trip to New York with the students. They each led the students in a performance while there. They attended a Broadway show and had time to visit a college. There was the usual New York site seeing as well. A great time was had by all.
New York 2014
Hawaii 2016
In 2016 our teachers took on Hawaii with about 75 music students! The choir performed at Pearl Harbor's Battleship Missouri, and the band and orchestra each performed at the Polynesian Cultural Center. They went to a Luau, saw a great cultural show, visited the Dole Plantation and Maze, and took the kids snorkelling! There may have been an attempt at some surfing as well but only the luckiest students witnessed that feat! This was an amazing trip for our students in the heart of Oahu, Hawaii.
